Housing & Meal Plans for Students

Centralia College owns and operates the Silver Street Apartments, which are located right next to Centralia College. Apartments are reserved for Centralia College students enrolled in at least 10 credits every quarter (except in the summer quarter, which has no credit minimum). 

  • Furnished units for one, two, or three people
  • Utilities and WiFi included
  • On-site manager
  • Close to campus and downtown Centralia
  • 10-month terms (September-June)

How to Apply

  1. Submit the online housing application
  2. Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee (view it in your ctcLink account)

Monthly Rates for Student Housing

  • 1 bedroom unit w/1 person:  $1400/month
  • 1 bedroom unit w/2 people:  $825/month/person
  • 2 bedroom unit w/2 people:  $1400/month/person
  • 2 bedroom unit w/3 people:  $1400/month for single room; $825/month/person shared room

Rent includes a furnished unit and utilities (electricity/water/sewer/garbage and a student housing wireless internet account). Students also pay a $200 non-refundable facilities and maintenance fee and a $200 refundable security deposit before moving in.

Student Housing is not currently available for students’ spouses, domestic partners, or families. Additionally, residents must be 18 years of age or turning 18 within their academic year living in Centralia College Student Housing. The College may grant an exception for younger students on a case-by-case basis. Residents who are still 17 years old upon their move-in date OR who are not legally independent must have a legal guardian sign their Student Housing License Agreement to be eligible for Housing.

Centralia College partners with CHI Centralia for student apartments at 111 S. Ash St. 

  • Fully furnished room with bathroom and shower shared with a roommate

Meal Plans

Centralia College offers quarterly meal plans, through Blazer Bite (the campus cafeteria in the TransAlta Commons). Meal plans are available to all enrolled Centralia College students (you do not have to live in student housing).  Meal plans are preloaded accounts for students to purchase breakfast and/or lunch items and include several options:

  • Plan A - $500 breakfast and/or lunch up to 5 times per week.
  • Plan B - $1,000 breakfast and lunch up to 5 times per week.
  • Plan C - Pay as You Go: any amount can be loaded to a student account.
