We are so excited for you to graduate! Below you will find important information about Commencement as well as cap and gown orders.
Commencement Ceremony
4 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024
NOTIFICATION OF PARTICIPATION: To participate in the Commencement ceremony and to guarantee that your name will be included in the Commencement program, you must complete the online form by May 24. Email graduationCC@centralia.edu or call 360-623-8976 if you have questions.
Cap and Gown Information
You have several options for your cap and gown.
- You can purchase a royal blue cap, gown, and tassel from Jostens.
- You can borrow a royal blue cap and gown from a friend or family member.
- Or, you can borrow a cap and gown at no cost from Enrollment Services. Limited supplies are available so please call Enrollment Services at 360-623-8976 to reserve your cap and gown.
Ordering Cap and Gown from Jostens
Step 1: Go to www.jostens.com/college
- Type in Centralia College and select Centralia College, Centralia WA
Step 2: Select the Cap and Gown icon to begin the order
- Price: Cap, Gown, and Tassel - $28.80 plus tax and $5.95 shipping/handling. Items can be ordered individually as well. The Centralia College Bookstore will also have commemorative tassels available for purchase.
- May 1, 2024 IS THE FINAL DEADLINE FOR ORDERING YOUR CAP AND GOWN ONLINE.
- All orders placed after Wednesday, May 1, will incur a $20 late fee and will need to be ordered with the Jostens call center at 800-854-7464.
Ordered or rented caps/gowns and honor cords will be AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP STARTING MAY 28 in Enrollment Services located on the second floor of the TransAlta Commons (TAC) building.

How to Apply for Graduation
In order for your degree to be awarded and to receive information for the Commencement Ceremony, you must apply for graduation. The Graduation Application will determine if you are eligible to obtain your certificate or diploma. Information regarding the Commencement Ceremony will be sent mid-March. There is no fee to apply for graduation or to participate in Commencement.

If your Graduation Application is received by the priority deadline, your Academic Advisement Report determining your graduation progress will be sent to you and your advisor prior to the Advising Day of your last quarter.
If you completed your degree/certificate requirements prior to July 2023, contact Enrollment Services to request an Academic Advisement Report - 360-623-8976 or graduationCC@centralia.edu.
Diplomas
Centralia College will mail diplomas approximately 60 days after the end of the quarter in which the requirements for the program has been completed and verified. Diplomas will be mailed to the address on the student’s record.
