nursing programCC’s nursing program named one of state’s best

Centralia College’s nursing program has been ranked as the 14th best program in the state by Nursing Schools Almanac.

The rankings are based on the program’s “academic prestige, program breadth/depth, and student success on nursing licensure exams,” according to Nursing Schools Almanac. More than 3,000 schools across the country were evaluated.

The 2019 list of the 25 Best Nursing Schools in Washington has Centralia College in 14thplace among all two- and four-year colleges. Among only two-year colleges, Centralia College is second in the state (behind Bellevue College in 13thplace).

“I’m very proud of our program and our students,” said Ellen Hinderlie, nursing program director. “We work hard to provide a prestigious, highly competitive program at Centralia College, but it’s nice to be acknowledged for that on a national scale.”
