Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) to visit Centralia College on April 9-11, 2025.
NWCCU will perform a comprehensive accreditation evaluation visit to Centralia College on April 9-11, 2025. An evaluation team will meet with students, faculty, staff and Board of Trustees to evaluate the college's accreditation status, in conjunction with the college's 2025 Year Seven Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness Report. This visit is the culminating step in a regular seven-year cycle of review to evaluate the college’s compliance with the NWCCU standards, eligibility requirements, and policies.
Centralia College has retained its status as a regionally accredited institution of higher education since 1948. The NWCCU last reaffirmed Centralia College's accreditation in July 2018 in conjunction with the 2018 Year Seven Self-Evaluation Report.
The public is invited to send comments regarding the college’s qualifications for accreditation directly to NWCCU, up to 10 days before the start of the evaluation visit. Online submissions can be shared at https://nwccu.org/upcoming-evaluations/. All comments must be received by NWCCU by March 28, 2025.
