The Testing Center offers college placement testing, proctored testing, and testing for other Centralia College academic classes.

Testing Options

The Testing Center is offering two options. You can schedule appointments for guaranteed testing times or you can walk-in to test as space is available. See details below.

Testing by Appointment

  • 8am-8pm Monday-Thursday
  • Appointments are available for remote/online testing or in-person at the Testing Center.
  • Submit the "Contact Us" form below or call 360-623-8920 to secure your testing time.
  • Face coverings are recommended for all visitors. See the Covid-19 information page for details.
  • Bring photo identification to your test.

 

Walk-in Testing

  • 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday
  • Use the west side door. This is the door located on the west side of the library, between the library and the TransAlta Commons. 
  • Testing is available as space is available. All social distancing protocols must be enforced, and space may be limited at peak times.
  • Face coverings are recommended for all visitors. See the Covid-19 information page for details.
  • Bring photo identification to your test.

We are offering remote testing for the college placement test. For information, please submit the Contact Us form in the tab below. We look forward to serving you.

Test Fees

There is no fee to take the college placement tests.

Sample Questions and Guides

Centralia College is doing college placement testing through the Washington Mathematics Assessment and Placement (WAMAP) system. There is no fee to take the college placement tests.Please contact cctestingcenter@centralia.edu for the link to the test.

Accuplacer Next Generation College Placement Test Free - no charge
GED $120–complete series, four tests
$30–single test
Proctor Fee (non-CC courses) $30
  • Current photo identification is required for all testing.
  • Only the tester is allowed in the testing room. Children and other individuals may not accompany the tester.
  • Electronics, food, and drinks are not permitted.
