Important Information for Financial Aid Applicants

The 2024-25 FAFSA/WASFA applications are now available. Read more about FAFSA Simplification and the steps you need to take now. The priority deadline to apply for financial aid for summer and fall classes has been extended to May 1. Learn more on the Applying for Financial Aid webpage.

Financial Aid Processing is Underway for Spring Quarter

If you submitted all required financial aid forms before the priority deadline (March 1) and you are eligible for funding, then your spring classes will be held. If you turned in documentation after the March 1 deadline, you will need to pay your spring tuition or sign up for a payment plan while Financial Aid continues to review your file.

STUDENTS PLEASE DO THIS:

  • Login to ctcLink to view your To-Do List! Make sure you do not have any outstanding items. Missing or incomplete documentation will delay your award.
  • Be sure to attend ALL your classes! Financial Aid students will NOT be dropped from classes for non-payment.
Be sure to login to ctcLink and look for a hold on your student account that says “Tuition Deferred – Possible FA.” If you met the March 1 deadline and do not see this alert, please contact ccfinancialaid@centralia.edu right away.
  • You may need to purchase books and supplies before your check arrives. If you are participating in TRIO, BFET, Worker Retraining, WorkFirst, or Opportunity Grant, you may be eligible for book money! Please check with your program support staff to find out about available funding.
  • Login to ctcLink to verify your Check Address. Checks will be mailed to the Check Address on file in ctcLink.
    • To verify your Check Address: Login to ctcLink > go to Student Homepage > Click Profile > click Addresses. Make sure your Mailing Address and your Check Address are the same.
