Make parenting fun and stress-free with the support of other parents and caring, informative instructors. Classes are available for parents and kids of all shapes and sizes.

Learning with Infants and Toddlers

For ages birth to 3. Held at the Intot Development Center located at the Northwest Sports Hub in Centralia at 701 Pioneer Way. Wednesdays 10-11:50am OR 1-2:50pm, July 10-Aug. 21. Contact Britany Hastings at 360-736-4359.

Social Kids

Parents and children will both learn strategies for regulating behavior, and children will learn how to advocate for their needs. Class meets Saturdays 10am-12pm. July 6 – Aug. 24, at the Centralia College Child Lab School at 412 S. Oak St. Child care is provided.

Summer Spectrum

This class is designed to help strengthen, support, and provide education specific to parents and caregivers of children on the Autism spectrum. Class meets Thursdays, 9am-12:00pmJuly 11 – Aug. 15 at the Child Lab School at 412 S. Oak St. Child care is provided.

Level Up Parenting (formerly known as TIPS)

For parents who really want to up their good parenting skills! Tuesdays 12-2:00pm. July 2–Aug. 20 at the Family Resource Center at 402 S. Oak St. No child care.

Parenting in Recovery

Parents will have the opportunity to improve their parenting skills, learn trust-building techniques, explore the impact of substance abuse on the family, and understand the physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of their children.Wednesdays 9:30am-12:00pm. July 3 – Aug. 21 at the Family Resource Center at 402 S. Oak St. No child care.

Parenting Your Teen

Gives parents the tools to help their children safely navigate the often stormy years of adolescence, from cliques to curfews to sex and drugs. Tackles the tough issues teens and parents face today. Tuesdays, 6-8:30pm, July 2 – Aug. 20 at the Family Resource Center at 402 S. Oak St. No child care.

Parents as Teachers

For pregnant moms or parents with children up to 3 years old who prefer to meet one-on-one with an instructor.Contact Kristi Jewell at 360-623-8449.
