Counseling/Career Center Staff

The Counseling/Career Center staff help with career choices and are mental health counselors trained to help with problems such as stress, test anxiety, depression, and relationships. They also do advising. To make a counseling appointment, call us at (360) 736-9391, ext. 265.

Running Start Staff

  • Peggy Goldberg, Counselor for students from Centralia, North Thurston, Tumwater, Tenino, and Rochester high schools
  • Carmen Van Tuyl, Coordinator of Running Start, Counselor for students from Adna, Napavine, Pe Ell, and W.F. West high schools
  • Fred Schwindt, Counselor for students from Morton and White Pass high schools, and vocational Running Start students

  • Deciding on a major
  • Which classes to take and when to take them
