Central Services and Purchasing

The Central Services and Purchasing Department provides purchasing services for the main campus in Centralia, as well as our satelite locations: Centralia College East, Morton, Garrett Heyns Education Center, Shelton, and Cedar Creek Corrections Center, Littlerock. Purchasing Department Services

The Purchasing Department procures equipment, supplies, and services for all Centralia College departments with prime consideration to price, quality, delivery, departmental requirements, and vendor performance. The department ensures that all pruchases comply with State laws, procedures and regulations, verifies that State of Washington competitive procurement requirements are met, and that proper approvals have been obtained. Purchasing also works with the Receiving Department to facilitate the prompt delivery of goods and services.

Centralia College is always looking for new responsible and responsive vendors. If you have not previously done business with us, please send an introductory letter to our mailing address, indicating what goods or services your company can provide, or contact us to make an appointment.

Orders

All purchase orders and contracts must be approved and issued by the Purchasing Department. Departments may place their own orders directly with vendors only with the approval of the Purchasing Department.

Minority & Women Owned Businesses

State policy provides opportunities for increased participation in State purchases by minority and women-owned businesses. The Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE) oversees this program.
