Centralia College is committed to providing a healthy and productive environment for students to learn and employees to work. The college does not tolerate violent, harassing, threatening, or intimidating behavior toward students, staff, faculty, or visitors. Students learn and employees work best when they know they have a supportive environment in which to do so.
The safety of CC students, staff, faculty, and visitors is the highest priority. Centralia College offers the campus community professional staff, resources, training, and policies that help ensure a safe environment on and off campus. With these people, tools, and means in place, we are confident we have created a college in which people can learn and work at their best.
How to Get Help
At CC, the Title IX Coordinator responds to complaints of sex-based discrimination, including sexual harassment, stalking, sexual assault, relationship violence, and other forms of sexual misconduct, as well as retaliation.
If you have been the victim of sexual misconduct or are aware of sexual misconduct and would like to know how the college can help you, contact the Title IX Coordinator. If you are concerned about behavior that makes you uncomfortable, but you're not sure if it is serious enough to warrant a complaint, or if you're not sure what you'd like to happen, the Title IX Coordinator can help.
If you are a CC student, you may also want to make an appointment to talk with a counselor at the Advising/Counseling Center on campus. Your conversation with a counselor will remain confidential, and nothing will be shared with the Title IX Coordinator. You may seek the assistance of a trusted faculty member; if you do so, please keep in mind that all college employees (other than counseling professionals) are mandatory reporters and must report all information to the Title IX Coordinator.
