Writing Center

Welcome writers of all levels, at all phases of the writing process! The Writing Center is located in Kemp 105. The center will reopen for fall 2010 on Monday,Sept. 27. Fall quarter hours will be posted at the center and on this website.


Stop by the center for free, drop-in assistance with college writing at any phase of the process. The center offers computer stations (with ADA accommondations), reference materials, faculty and student consultants, workshops, and a coffee/reading area.

Looking for Volunteers

If you're a student who enjoys writing and working with people, and has completed English 101 with a 3.5 + GPA, consider volunteering 2 hours/week in the Writing Center during fall quarter to become eligible for a paid position during winter quarter. Inquire at the Writing Center for details.
