Sociology

The sociology program provides students a better understanding of what makes people behave the way they do.

The focus is on the kinds of groups people create and on specific interactions that take place as part of the basic social processes. The program also addresses how group activities influence individuals.

The sociology program provides a foundation for students to transfer to a four-year college or university. See the sociology faculty advisor for details.
