How to Enroll

  1. Complete the Running Start application. Submit to the Advising/Counseling Center.
  2. Submit your official high school transcript to the Advising/Counseling Center.
  3. Submit Smarter Balanced test scores to the Advising/Counseling Center or take the college placement test. See Running Start Testing Tips. To qualify for Running Start, a student must test into English 101.
  4. Schedule an appointment for advising by calling the Advising/Counseling Center at 360-623-8967 or Centralia College East (in Morton) at 360-496-5022.
  5. The student and a parent or guardian must attend a mandatory Running Start Student and Parent Orientation. See the orientation schedule for dates and times.
  6. Register at the Enrollment Services Office with your registration form and the completed and signed Running Start Verification Form.
