Running Start

The Running Start Program allows qualified high school juniors and seniors to enroll tuition-free in college courses as part of their high school programs of study.
Important changes in Running Start fees: Beginning Fall 2009, Running Start students must pay mandatory college and/or student voted fees as established by Centralia College. Low-income Running Start students are eligible for a fee waiver of these mandatory fees if they provide acceptable documentation. See Important Legislative Changes in Running Start Fee Policy (doc), or contact Running Start for more information at runningstart@centralia.edu.
High school students and parents interested in learning more about the Running Start Program are invited to attend an information session at Centralia College. For more information, call (360) 736-9391, ext. 265, or email runningstart@centralia.edu.
