Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. It is a derivative of early 20th century Kodokan Judo, founded in 1882. Like judo, it promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger stronger assailant using leverage and proper technique. Located at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu of Lewis county in conjunction with Flying Tiger Exercise Arts Center, 221 S. Tower Ave. Taught by Ken Kindred in a safe, friendly, and professional environment.

Cardio & Strength Training
Have fun in this fitness class that combines cardio exercises with strength training to improve cardio endurance and increase muscle strength. Students will use free weights, benches, basic step movements, elastic bands, ad fitness balls. Class is designed for all fitness levels. Bring a water bottle and a mat or towel for floor exercises. Taught by Nancy Grzadzielewski.  No class 1/18 & 2/15

Multi-level classes for men, women, and young adults providing excellent exercise, body conditioning and mental discipline. T’ai Chi – Daytime
T'ai Chi is a centuries old Chinese form of exercise characterized by slow, graceful movements of a gentle, non-impact nature. Taught by Russell Barr. Classes are held in the Health and Wellness Center on campus. No class 1/18 & 2/15

Yang Style of T’ai Chi – Nighttime
T’ai Chi practice is non-competitive and can be adapted to each individual’s body type and abilities. The movements are gentle and relaxed and therefore avoid putting undo stress on the systems of the body; this makes it an ideal form of exercise regardless of physical condition. Classes will be held at the Flying Tiger Exercise Arts Center at 219 S. Tower, Centralia.

Reiki Level I for Caregivers
This all-day Reiki I class provides the instruction and attunements for Reiki Level I that will teach you how to transfer healing Reiki energies directly to another person for restoring health and balance on all levels. No prior training is required. Instruction and certification is provided by Reiki Mater-Teacher Howard Batie.

Introduction to the Human Energy Field & Healing
The Human Energy Field is discussed and described in terms of acupuncture meridians, chakras (energy centers on the body) and the five energy bodies. Learn about Reiki and Healing Touch for accelerated physical healing; Emotional release of emotional issues; and Inner Light Consciousness (ILC) Meditation, Ultra-Height, and Life Between Lives Therapy for spiritual discovery and development.
