Online Real Estate
Real Estate Licensing laws changed July 1, 2010. To obtain a new license you will have to meet the following requirements: be at least 18 years of age; have a high school diploma or GED; complete 60 hour Real Estate Fundamentals course and a 30 hour Real Estate Practices course; pass the real estate broker licensing exam; complete a background check through Washington State Patrol and the FBI.

Fundamentals
Real Estate Fundamentals is a pre-license course you must complete before you take the
Real Estate Broker Exam in Washington State. The course
topics include: real estate interest, ownership, property
transfer, finance, valuation, government influences, and the
law. This class is done on-line. The class is a 60-hour
online six-credit course. Students who register for this
course will receive a packet with login instructions. Course
is offered through Rockwell Institute.

Real Estate Practices
This class is a pre-license course you
must complete before taking the real estate broker licensing
exam in Washington State.
The course is a 30 hour online course that covers practical
aspects of the real estate profession.

Residential Real Estate Finance
This course gives you the opportunity to learn about
all of the finance programs available today, including
conventional loans, FHA insured and VA guaranteed loans,
creative financing and seller sponsored financing. This
course can be used to satisfy continuing education
requirements. Course is a 30-hour, 3-credit online class.
There is an additional $10-per-credit fee for online
courses. You can enroll for these classes at any time and
have 6 months to finish this class unless you are on
financial aid.
