This class is geared toward students who are in or who are interested in careers in the healthcare field. Students who are interested in becoming or who are already a First Responder, EMT, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, Nurse etc. are required to have this certification to work in most healthcare facilities. This class can be taken for recertification or for a new certification. Class is taught based on American Heart Association requirements. Heavy focus on airway management. Class includes instruction on 1 person and 2 person CPR as well as AED training. Successful students receive a certification good for 2 years. This course includes certification for adult, child, and infant CPR. Instructor Chris Layton. First Aid training is not part of this class! No refunds will be given if you do not withdraw at least 24 hours before the start of class.

First Aid & CPR Certification
Emergency care of an injured or ill person to prevent death or further injury, relieve pain, and counteract shock until aid is obtained. Upon completion, students receive Community First Aid and CPR cards. This course includes certification for adult, child, and infant CPR. No refunds will be given if you do not withdraw at least 24 hours before the start of class.
