Continuing & Community Education

Enriching people's lives through lifelong learning

The Continuing & Community Education department encompasses many different educational opportunities for students. We offer non-credit Community Education classes that include fitness, dance, drawing and painting, small business, stained glass, jewelry, glass blowing, digital photography, healing arts, and music.

Many of our Continuing Education classes provide professional certifications such as flagger, forklift, first aid & CPR, Nursing Assistants Certified, Nurse Delegation, Mental Health, and Dementia certification.

We also partner with Business and Industries in Lewis County to perform Customized Job Skills Training for their employees.

Centralia College is committed to adults who would like to continue learning in their retirement years. We have sections that qualify for reduced tuition rates noted in the schedule by Lifelong Learners 50+.

Interested in teaching a class? We are always looking for new ideas & courses

We are looking for qualified continuing education instructors in a wide variety of classes. If you are interested in proposing a class please complete a course proposal and submit it as indicated on the form. If your course is approved you will be contacted by the continuing education director. Proposals for fall quarter need to be received prior to July 1, 2012!
