Campus Closure, Delays & Cancelled Classes
When inclement weather, natural disasters, power curtailments, or other disruptions interrupt the operation of the college, the decision to close the college or delay classes is made in concert with the college President and other components of the district. See College Announcements below. College Announcements
Weather Alert: This announcement means the college is open but faculty/staff/students are to use their best judgment regarding their safety when coming to campus. Students will not be penalized for not coming to campus, but should consult their syllabi for additional information on class expectations under these conditions.Delayed Start: This announcement that classes occurring before the delayed start time are cancelled. The announcement will be on the radio by 6:30am.
Day Classes Cancelled: This announcement means all day classes are cancelled. The announcement will be on the radio by 6:30am.
Evening Classes Cancelled: This announcement means all evening classes are cancelled. Evening classes begin at 4:30pm. The announcement will be on the radio by 3:00pm.
College Closed to All Employees: This announcement means that the campus is closed, and only personnel who are called in to work, will report to work.
