Payroll Accounting
Certificate of Completion

The Payroll Accounting Certificate of Completion is not an actual "degree program" as such, and does not provide students with sufficient training to find employment as either accountants or bookkeepers. It is unlikely that employers will hire students who have completed only an accounting certificate of completion --- students need additional training in other areas before entering the job market in accounting.

Program Outcomes

Students who successfully complete this program should be able to:

  1. Perform financial and accounting tasks manually.

  2. Understand laws pertaining to payroll.

  3. Calculate payroll with holidays and prepare appropriate forms.

  4. Prepare employee earnings record.
