Feel the Adrenaline at the Zombie Run on Oct. 19
Zombies are attacking – get ready to run!
The Centralia College Zombie Run will take place on Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. at Centralia's Borst Park.
This riotous 5k is full of startling zombie encounters and electrifying frights. But, don’t fear; each runner will be equipped with a fully loaded Nerf gun to ward off the undead hoard.
This race is fun for individuals, groups, families and more! Come on down to participate or spectate. There will be plenty for everyone to do with games, vendors, club booths, and other attractions. The Centralia Police Department, Thorbeckes, the Associated Students of Centralia College, and Dutch Brothers will all be onsite with lots of exciting offerings. “These themed 5ks are so rewarding for us to put on,” said Centralia College Events Coordinator Staci Sume. “We love seeing people bring their friends and family to join the excitement, wander through the games and booths, and get their morning exercise in. There’s something fun for everyone.”
If you sign up before Oct. 14 at NOON, you’ll receive a Zombie Run t-shirt and special swag bag.
The cost is $25 per adult, $15 per student with student ID, and $60 for a family of four. You can register online on the Centralia College Zombie 5k Fun Run Facebook page or in person at the Student Life office in the TransAlta Commons (cash or check only). All proceeds support future events at Centralia College.
Cost increases by $5 on the day of the event. T-shirt supplies will be limited.
